This started after a talk I gave at a university in England. A professor asked me: “If your child were in my school, what would you want us to teach them?” I said computer science. But the truth is, whatever they learn today might not matter tomorrow.
That’s not a problem. Change is real. What worries me more is the growing gap — between those who have access, and those who don’t. My kids live in the UK. Others grow up with limited access to internet — or even food. In a few years, they’ll be completely out of the loop. And that’s not just unfair. It’s dangerous.
Every Human in the Loop is a starting point. A way to ask: what if AI helped people — all people? What if it helped with addiction, mental health, education, loneliness, or poverty?
The truth is, some people are earning millions to shape the future of AI. Others are being told they’re replaceable. And yet, the technology is already here — not just to make companies richer, but to help people live better lives.
Even as a simple user, I believe we have a responsibility: to not only grow companies, but grow the world.
